You gotta love the milestones of life!
It seems like my Facebook Newsfeed is filled with them. As I scroll through the feed, I enjoy photos of proud families sharing those precious moments of their little ones, causing me to reminisce back to the days when I lived those precious milestone moments too.
Lately those milestone moments have consisted of a series of “lasts” for us. And, while it saddens me to realize we are reaching a significant turning point in my daughter’s life, I know that these “lasts” are going to open the door to many “firsts”.
So here we go…here’s a look at some of those milestone moments in our life:
A night to remember as my two favorite teenagers are ready to attend their last homecoming dance. 🙂
Last Homecoming!
An oh-so-bitter-sweet ending to the last XC District meet. Maddie finished 2nd for her team with her best time of the season of a 21:47. What a way to run!
And the proud parents at the finish line…yes, I cried!
Enjoy those milestone moments because they do grow up way too fast!
