Writing Territories: 34 Ideas to Push the Pen and Keep the Keys Clicking

Several fellow slicers have been kind enough to share writing prompts and/or topic ideas for the upcoming Slice of Life Story Challenge. Some of the ones I stumbled across can be found here at Sweet Writing Life and here at Just for a Month. Thank you for sharing, ladies!

  1. What a rich plethora of writing ideas! Thanks so much, Amy, for sharing the wealth! I’m printing this out for inspiration during the challenge. Clearly your time away charged up your writing batteries! Yay!

  2. I especially like these two prompts:

Six Words Saturday: Six words, just six words. Sprinkle them on the page. Perhaps leave us wondering how they connect, what they mean to you. It’s been said, less is more!
Seven Words Sunday: Seven words, just seven words. Sprinkle them on the page. Perhaps leave us wondering how they connect, what they mean to you. It’s been said, less is more!

    will be trying both. Thanks

  3. Love these, Amy. As someone who doesn’t make lists (even though I should) I am constantly looking for ideas for the March challenge. I will be coming back to this list as the month progresses. Thanks for sharing.

  4. I love these ideas! I have bookmarked this post as well as pinned it, so I can come back to “borrow” some of your writing ideas.

  5. Love this list! Back when I used to teach, I created an extensive list of my writing territories. I’m going to look for it. And I’ll certainly bookmark your post for those days when I’m in search of a slice. I love Satur-Yay and Sun-Yay. When we were first married, my husband was always surprised when I wanted to celebrate every weekend. I still feel that way (almost 35 years later), weekends are definitely Yay-Days. Thanks for validating me.
