I imagine it’s now your responsibility to taste test a few of those alternative flavors today, Amy, or at least to enjoy a classic! Happy cookie eating!
This is my ALL TIME FAVORITE slice! You’ve given me a reason to eat Oreos!!! Thank you. Good news, I already bought some yesterday. Woo Hoo!!
Thank you for your post. It brought a smile to a cold and dreary Monday. I need to try the peeps oreo.
Amy, you sure do know how to inspire me on a Monday morning! Oreos! I’m going to buy some today. Hope they’re on sale at my grocery store. Taking them apart, dipping them in milk–my mouth is watering.
Enjoy! There are so many varieties out there. Maybe you’ll get adventurous and try a new kind.
Oh, Amy, when I found out the Peeps version was coming out, I thought, “Oh, nooooooo! I hope my husband does not discover them while grocery shopping!” So far, he hasn’t. But I loved reading this post as the Oreo cookie, dunked in icy cold milk, was a childhood favorite. I confess, I can’t buy them or I’d go through the entire packet in three days. Sigh!
I may need to find the Peeps ones for my daughter, who loves Peeps! I love the different ones they have created, but didn’t know about the key lime pie ones. I adore key lime pie. Thanks for the reminder of this special day, Amy!
Regular and golden are my favorite. Of course, Red Velvet isn’t bad either. Mint is also tasty. OK, there isn’t an Oreo I don’t like.
I must admit to being a bit of a cookie snob. I like mine homemade, but when I eat a prepared cookie, Oreos, are my first choice. For a long time, my husband kept double stuff Oreos around. He doesn’t do that anymore, thank goodness! Because I do love cookies and will indulge in whatever is available, always with a glass of cold milk.
I think I need to run our and get a bag of these right away – just for myself!
How did I miss that holiday? Nuts! Have you tried those lemon ones. Mm Mm Good!
I saw the Peeps flavor at the grocery store the other day and I was like, “Are you kidding me??” 🙂
Haha! I know, right? I think the same thing!!!
